JSTAR - JUST STAND TOGETHER AND REACH

At JSTAR Enterprise we believe that all young people should have a worthwhile future regardless of their past or how difficult their current circumstances may be.  We aim to make our services accessible to society’s most disadvantaged young people.

As a not for profit organisation we work with charities, youth groups and the voluntary sector in an effort to effect change. We are dedicated to motivating and engaging the most diverse and difficult to reach young people so that they can access the support they need from within their local community whilst providing them with ongoing support to ensure that they receive the help that they need to resolve their situation.

The unique feature of JSTAR is that we work in a holistic way addressing the many issues that young people face for example; gang culture, challenging behaviour and social and emotional issues. We recognise that many young people have multiple needs that they require support with and as a result may need to be in touch with several different agencies or organisations at one time this could include housing, probation service, social services, mental health services or drug and alcohol services.

We want to encourage Social, Emotional and Physical Well-being for all young people so that they may be able to reach their aspirations and thereby contribute positively to their community.
